Dr. Singh is a Consultant Diabetologist and Medical Director of Zest Diabetes Care. He worked for several years in the National Health Service (NHS) of UK as a Senior Clinical and Research Fellow in Diabetes and Renal medicine and was actively involved in running joint diabetes clinics with other related specialities such as Endocrinology, Gestational diabetes, Adolescent Diabetes, Diabetic foot, Diabetic Retinopathy, Diabetic Nephropathy and Men’s sexual health.
Along with his rich clinical experience in diabetes, he obtained his doctorate in diabetic vasculopathy from the University of Hertfordshire and post graduate diploma in diabetes from the University of Bedfordshire. He did a post-doctoral clinical and research fellowship in diabetes and renal medicine, before coming back to India.
Dr. Singh has been an Investigator for various clinical research studies resulting in numerous presentations and research papers in national and international medical journals. His career objective is to keep his learning going on and contribute to the clinical research in pathogenesis, prevention and treatment of diabetic complications. He is an Honorary Senior Lecturer to University of Hertfordshire (UK) and collaborator on various ongoing clinical research projects on complications of diabetes, in India and abroad.
He is actively involved in sharing all the little experience he believe he has, with his medical colleagues, through lectures and seminars. In addition, he is closely associated with various NGOs and social group to spread awareness about diabetes and its complications through educational lectures and interactive sessions with general public. He writes regularly on diabetes and related health issues in health columns of various news papers.
